Liberty Tech Charter Schools

The goals of this project are focused on the development and implementation of authentic, learner-led project-based learning (PBL) units and exhibitions at Liberty Tech for the 2022-2023 school year. The project aims to deepen the understanding and capacity of teachers in designing and leading learner-led PBL units, as well as the key elements of high quality PBL, including the involvement of authentic users and experts, community partners, and student reflection protocols. Additionally, the project aims to build a professional learning calendar for PBL and develop a coherent point of view on PBL development and deployment at Liberty Tech, with the goal of gaining teacher buy-in. Overall, the project aims to support the ongoing implementation of PBL at Liberty Tech and improve the learning experiences of students.
