Develop a “Blueprint” for a New School Model
Many schools and systems are dramatically rethinking what it means to educate their students effectively and are looking to transform their learning environments to better help all young people thrive. This Design Lab explores this new perspective on educational learning environments and guides participants on how to bring to life a new, transformative school model.

A proven process
Developed originally at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education Master's degree in Education Entrepreneurship program, the New School Models Design Lab provides a design process that allows leaders and educators to tackle the following issues:
How might we meet the needs of our youngest learners and most vulnerable students?
How might we increase access to technology and align learning environments accordingly?
How might we run remote and in-person learning concurrently?
How can we limit learning loss while schools are closed?
How might we address student motivation while working at home?
Developed for individuals and team members who work on or support those who affect the design of learning environments, the Design Lab focuses on understanding how and why today's learning environments can be improved to better support students. Participants will leave the Design Lab with their own “Blueprint” for a New School Model, along with resources to help pursue their vision.
