Brandi B. Kenner

Founder and CEO of Choice-filled Lives Network


Brandi B. Kenner, Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of Choice-filled Lives Network, a social change capacity building organization. Dr. Kenner is also a cognitive developmental scientist, educator, and organizational strategist committed to ensuring Choice-filled Lives for all children and families. With over 20 years of experience bridging research, practice, and technology, she has been recognized with the Malcolm Knowles Memorial Self-Directed Learning Award (2022), the 2024 Camelback Ventures Conscious Tech Fellowship, and a 2024 Gates Foundation ASU+GSV Sponsorship. Her expertise spans research and evaluation, strategic planning, educational technology, AI bias mitigation, organizational development, language and literacy transformation, and dual-language immersion. Dr. Kenner holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Developmental Psychology from Emory University, along with degrees and certifications from Georgia State University, the University of Michigan, the Georgia Charter Schools Association, and Google. She is also an Affiliated Research Scientist with Yale University's Haskins Laboratories.

Dr. Kenner began her career as a teacher in Detroit and Atlanta before transitioning into leadership roles in higher education, charter school development, and philanthropy, working with organizations like Teach For America, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and the Atlanta Speech School. She later founded Choice-filled Lives Network to connect and scale social-change efforts aimed at eliminating inequities. Now based in Atlanta with her blended family, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and traveling to sunny, beachside destinations.
